The Rhoscolyn Lifeboat  "Ramon Cabrera" - 1903

The Anglesey Association established the Rhoscolyn Lifeboat in 1830, with the construction of the boathouse being financed by Major Hampton Lewis of Bodior, Rhoscolyn. After merging with the R.N.L.I. in 1855 a larger boat was stationed at Rhoscolyn and it was necessary to construct a bigger boathouse to accommodate it. This was subsequently replaced in 1877/8 by one designed by C.H. Cooke, costing £400.
